Title: Differential neutrino condensation onto large scale structure and extreme scale N-body simulations

Abstract:

I will present a numerical discovery “differential neutrino condensation" in the TianNu simulation — a 3-trillion-particle N-body simulation of neutrinos and large scale structure on the Chinese Tianhe-2 supercomputer. By using this effect, neutrino masses can be inferred by comparing galaxy properties in regions of the universe with different neutrino relative abundance. I will also summarize and forecast our cosmological N-body simulation development on modern supercomputers.
