Title:Gravitational wave and testing of gravity

Abstract:Gravitational wave (GW) provides a powerful method to test the fundamental properties of gravity in strong-gravitational fields. In this talk, I will introduce the the methods and status of testing gravity with GW observations, including the model-dependent method and the model-independent method. In particular, I will introduce the characters, (including the polarization, amplitude, phase, speed) of GWs in various theories of gravity (General Relativity, Brans-Dicke gravity, General screened modified gravity, Einstein-aether gravity, General parity-violating gravity, etc.), and how to utilize these characters to test the fundamental properties of gravity.
 
个人简历:2002年7月与2006年12月分别于中国科学技术大学天文系获得学士和博士学位。之后分别于英国Cardiff University and Wales Institute of Mathematical & Computational Sciences, 韩国Korea Astronomy & Space Science Institute, 丹麦Niels Bohr Institute and Copenhagen University从事博士后研究。2012年至今在中国科学技术大学天文系任教授。曾获得基金委优青,中科院百人计划资助,终期考核为“优秀”。主要研究方向为宇宙学和引力波,包括引力波的理论和探测,宇宙微波背景辐射,宇宙加速膨胀与暗能量,暴涨宇宙学,引力理论与引力检验等。目前已发表论文100余篇,被引用2000余次。
