Abstract：Time-domain transient surveys have led to the discovery of dozens of stellar tidal disruption events (TDEs) by massive black hole in the centers of galaxies. Earlier theoretical works focused mainly on
the TDEs in otherwise quiescent galaxies. TDE studies are developing and recent observations suggest more complex picture than expected. In this talk, I will review the progress in the study of TDEs, particularly
those associated with active galaxies, and more interestingly the stellar disruption by supermassive black hole binaries. In addition, I will show the results from our on-going X-ray and radio follow-up observations of TDE candidates. I will end with the summary of challenges in distinguishing various type of nuclear transients in future studies.
A short CV: My research focuses on transients, AGN physics and high-redshift galaxies. I obtained PhD in astrophysics at USTC on 2010, and then spent 3 years as postdoc and associate researcher in USTC. Since 2013,

I moved to CEA/Saclay as a postdoctoral researcher for two years. After that, I joined Anhui Normal University as a faculty of Department of Physics in 2015. Till now, I published more than 80 referred papers
with total citations of >3000 and H-index 27.
