Title: Cosmology from the CSST weak lensing and galaxy clustering surveys

Abstract: The China Space Station Telescope (CSST) is a 2m space telescope designed to explore the dark Universe. In this talk, I will discuss the recent progress we made on predicting the result of cosmological constraints based on the mock CSST weak lensing and galaxy clustering data. The COSMOS and zCOSMOS catalogs are used to produce the CSST photometric and spectroscopic mock data and help to estimate necessary information for the forecast. The details of evaluating the accuracies of photo-z and spec-z using the SED-template fitting and machine learning methods, and constraining the cosmological parameters with systematics will be discussed.

Bio: Dr. Yan Gong is a cosmologist and a professor in NAOC. He graduated and received his PhD in NAOC in 2010. Then he got a postdoctoral position in University of California, Irvine, and worked for five years. He then joined NAOC in 2015 and started to work on the CSST project. His research interests include dark matter and dark energy, cosmic large-scale structure, intensity mapping of emission lines, cosmic infrared background, etc.
