Research:
Biographical Sketch: I obtained my doctor’s degree at the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and spent 2 years (2009-2011) at Peking University as a postdoc. I am currently an assistant professor in Institute of Nuclear, Particle, Astronomy and Cosmology. Much of my current work focuses on the globular cluster systems and ultra-compact dwarf galaxies (UCDs). I take part in an international project called Next Generation Virgo cluster Survey (NGVS), which is a large optical survey to obtain deep images of 104 square degrees in Virgo galaxy cluster area. I and my collaborators are searching and studying the globular clusters and UCDs using these extremely high quality images.
