On July 11th, Professor of the Princeton Institute of Advanced Studies, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Royal Society, and Academician of the Royal Society of Canada, Professor Scott Tremaine, guest lecturer on the 132nd Master Class, at the 200 Lecture Hall of the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute of Minhang Campus. The remaining masters gave a wonderful report entitled "The Long-term Stability of Planetary Systems".
From July 7th to 9th, the International Conference on Astrophysical Dynamics was held at the Minhang Campus. The conference was organized by the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute and covers many frontier themes from planetary formation to the structure of the Milky Way. A total of 80 experts and young scholars from related fields at home and abroad gathered together. The chairman of the conference is Professor Lai Dong, a senior scholar at the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute.

On the afternoon of June 24th, 2019, the “Asymmetric Science and Technology Department of Shanghai University of Science and Technology and the Institute of Physics and Astronomy of Shanghai Jiaotong University launched the “Aperture and Long-Term Development Plan for 2021-2035 and the Development of the 14th Five-Year Plan”. The meeting was held at the New Science Building of Shanghai Jiaotong University. Executive Director of the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Dong Guoxuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Astronomy, Director Liu Qiang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wang Jingxuan, Academician Jing Yipeng of Shanghai Jiaotong University, National Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Purple Mountain Observatory, Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, Xinjiang Astronomical Observatory, Nanjing Astronomical Optical Technology Research Institute Nearly 30 astronomical experts from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Nanjing University, University of Science and Technology of China, and Beijing Normal University attended the kick-off meeting.

From June 10th to 14th, the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute held an international seminar on Halo and Galaxy Assembly Bias at Minhang Campus. The seminar was hosted by the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute and the School of Physics and Astronomy. The chairman of the organizing committee was Associate Professor of the University of Utah, Senior Visiting Scholar of the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute, Zheng Zheng, and Special Research Fellow of the School of Physics and Astronomy, Han Jiaxin and Zu Ying.
